Frequently Asked Questions
I understand that seeking support through coaching or therapy can raise many questions.
Whether you are new to these services or looking for specific information, this FAQ page is here to provide clarity and insight. You will find answers to common questions about the process, benefits, and what to expect from our coaching and therapy sessions. My goal is to help you feel informed and confident in your journey toward personal growth and well-being.
1 | Will the therapy sessions be covered by my health insurance?

The therapy sessions are not covered by health insurance, which means you would need to cover the costs yourself. However, I can offer a reduced fee if finances are a concern. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your options.

2 | Can I get my therapy or coaching reimbursed by my employer?

Yes, you may be able to ask your employer to cover the costs of your mental health support. If you find this conversation difficult, I can help guide you through it. Don’t hesitate to get in touch to talk about your possibilities.

3 | How does payment work?

Payments are made via bank transfer. After your free consultation and choosing a service, you will receive an invoice at the end of each week. Payments are due within 14 days.

4 | Where do we meet?

I am available for both online and offline meetings. For offline meetings, I can come to your location or you can meet me at one of the three locations:
Leonard Springerlaan 35 or Brugstraat 7a and at Zuiderpark 18 in Groningen.
5 | How long is the waiting list?

While there is typically a short waiting list, I strive to schedule initial intake sessions as soon as possible. Please contact me to discuss availability.

6 | Can I also receive therapy online?
Yes, online therapy is available and is just as effective as in-person sessions.
You only need a computer or laptop and a good internet connection.

7 | In what situations can you not offer help?
Suppose you are suffering from severe mental health disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), PTSD trauma, Suicidal thoughts and behaviors, Addictions, or other severe psychological disorders.
In that case, I advise seeking professional help within the clinical and GZ therapy framework.
8 | What can I do if I’m not satisfied with your service?

Open communication and trust are essential in a therapeutic relationship, and I am committed to adjusting your treatment to meet your needs better.
So, if you are unhappy with the sessions or feel your progress has stalled, let me know, and we can find a way to establish new therapy goals and adjust the sessions to your new needs.
